Holiday Power Outage

Charge up your laptop batteries or find a good book. From November 24 to 28 all the power outlets in the south end of the library will be turned off. The Music Zone will go quiet, the Media Center will close, and the wireless will not work. That part of the building was built in the 1970s and is due for an electrical upgrade.

The north end of the library will offer power and wireless access. All the library lights will work so there will be no interruption to our study areas and access to our print collections will not be a problem even in the south end of the building. Our servers will not be affected so online access to our many databases, electronic journals and e-books will not be a problem. If you need wireless access or an Ethernet connection they will be available in the north end of the building.
