Fashion and Flora, the Lee Library goes way beyond digitizing books and documents.

The Harold B. Lee Library will open a new exhibit in March highlighting the wide range of materials that have been digitized. There will be a letter from King Phillip II of Spain from the 1500s as well as a paper dress from the 1960s and botanical specimens from the S. L. Welsh Herbarium.

The exhibition titled Biblio-Tech-A: Digital Collections at BYU will include and active scanning machine where patrons can learn how to scan their own materials. When the exhibit is taken down at the end of April the large multi-camera scanner will be relocated to the Family History library on level 2 of the library. Once there it will be a great resource for patrons who need to scan old journals and other delicate documents.
