Winter Film Schedule

The Library Film Series returns this winter with a lineup of classics.

All films will be shown in the Alice Louise Reynolds Auditorium on level 1.

Showtime: 7:00 pm.

Due to circumstances there will not be a film in February.

We hope to see the films resume in March.

 

March 11            

The Adventures of Robin Hood

1938, 102 minutes

A Technicolor swashbuckler starring Errol Flynn, Olivia de Havilland, Basil Rathbone, and Claude Rains.

This film will be our first film using a new custom sound setting created for us by BYU’s OIT team.

 

April 8

The Maltese Falcon

1941, 101 minutes

Written and directed by John Huston and based on the novel by Dashiell Hammett.

Humphrey Bogart stared as investigator Sam Spade whose was drawn into a case surrounded by unscrupulous adventurers. Everyone is looking for a small statue.

 

May 13

Rear Window

1954, 112 minutes

Considered to be one of Alfred Hitchcock’s best films and nominated for four Academy Awards.

Starring James Stewart and Grace Kelly.

A photographer, confined to a wheelchair while his broken leg heals, takes an interest in the lives of his neighbors and tries to solve a mystery.
